Event Terms and Registration Conditions

1. About This Website and Event
This website is operated by Wiredin Events LLC ("Wiredin"), a healthcare engagement agency and professional conference organizer licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Licence No. 952713), in connection with the conference or event to which this website relates (the "Event"). Where the Event is held on behalf of a medical society, association, or other organization (the "Society"), that organization is identified on this website. The Event name, dates, venue, scientific programme, fee categories, and contact details are as published elsewhere on this website. These terms govern your use of this website and your registration for the Event.
2. Registration and Acceptance
By completing your registration for the Event you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to the Wiredin Privacy Statement. This wording is shown at the point of registration.
3. Who Controls Your Data
Where the Event is organized on behalf of a Society, that Society is the data controller for registration data collected for the Event, and Wiredin acts as processor on the Society's instructions. Where Wiredin organizes the Event in its own name, Wiredin is the data controller. Where a government body endorses or supports the Event without organizing it, that endorsement does not make it an organizer of the Event or a controller or processor of data collected through this website. The position for this Event is stated on this website or in the privacy notice provided at registration. See also the Wiredin Privacy Statement, Sections 2 and 3.
4. Government Licensing and Participant Authorization
Events held in the United Arab Emirates require a permit from the competent government authority in the emirate where they take place. Permits are ordinarily issued shortly before an event, and an event may be announced and open for registration before its permit has been granted. Where a permit applies, the licensing authority requires participant details, speaker details, or both, and may issue an authorization reference confirming who is cleared to attend or present. Submitting this information is a regulatory requirement, and registration or speaker confirmation cannot be completed without it. The competent authority is the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) for events held in Dubai, and the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), under the Abu Dhabi Events Licensing System, for events held in Abu Dhabi. For events held in another emirate or outside the UAE, the competent authority in that jurisdiction applies. Each authority decides independently what data it requires and acts as data controller for the data it receives. Requirements differ between jurisdictions and change over time, so we do not reproduce them here. The relevant authority publishes its own privacy notice: DET at dubaidet.gov.ae, and DCT Abu Dhabi at dct.gov.ae. Where the Event issues tickets through a government ticketing platform, ticket data is processed in that platform.
5. Registration Fees, Currency, and VAT
Fee categories and amounts are as published on the registration pages of this website. All payments are collected in UAE Dirhams (AED). Where a fee is displayed in another currency, such as US Dollars, that figure is shown for convenience only and is indicative; the amount charged is the AED amount. Because exchange rates move, the amount on your card or bank statement may differ from a figure displayed in another currency; your bank or card issuer may also apply its own conversion rate or transaction fees, outside Wiredin's control. All fees are exclusive of 5% Value Added Tax, applied per UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements. Tax invoices are issued in AED. Registration is confirmed only once full payment has been received, or once a valid complimentary code has been applied under Section 8.
6. What Registration Includes
Unless stated otherwise on the registration pages, registration entitles the delegate to access all general and concurrent scientific sessions, the exhibition area, daily coffee breaks, daily lunch, and congress materials. Travel, accommodation, visa costs, and separately ticketed social or pre-congress activities are not included.
7. Discounted and Restricted Registration Categories
Reduced rates for Residents, Students, and Industry Professionals require proof of eligibility. Wiredin accepts the least intrusive document sufficient: a valid student card, university enrollment letter, residency or training programme confirmation, or an employer or institution letter. A government identity document (Emirates ID or passport) is requested only where those documents cannot establish eligibility, or where a venue or permit authority specifically requires verified identification. Wiredin reserves the right to reclassify a registration to the correct fee category and invoice the difference where eligibility cannot be established.
8. Complimentary Registration Codes
If you have received a complimentary registration code from an official Event sponsor or partner, select Register Now and enter your reference code on the payment page. Codes are non-transferable and valid only for the Event and category for which they were issued, subject to availability.
9. Cancellation, Refunds, and Substitutions
30 or more calendar days before the first day of the Event: 100% refund, less a non-refundable processing fee of AED 365. Fewer than 30 calendar days before: no refund. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the registration contact address published on this website, effective from the date received. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable period following approval. Substitution of a registered delegate by a colleague from the same institution is permitted at no charge in advance of the Event, subject to the substitute qualifying for the same fee category. Where the Event is cancelled or materially rescheduled by the organizers, fees paid are refunded in full or transferred to the rescheduled dates at the delegate's election; Wiredin is not liable for travel, accommodation, or visa costs incurred.
10. Accreditation
Where the Event carries CME or CPD accreditation, the accrediting authority, credit hours available, and conditions for receiving a certificate are as published on this website. Certificates are issued subject to the accrediting authority's requirements and may be withheld or revoked where attendance or eligibility has been misrepresented.
11. Delegate, Speaker, and Exhibitor Conduct
Delegates, speakers, and exhibitors are expected to act professionally and in accordance with applicable ethical codes governing engagement between healthcare professionals and industry, including any conflict-of-interest disclosure required by the Event or its accrediting authority.
12. Speakers and Faculty
Speakers and faculty are subject to individual government permit requirements, varying by jurisdiction and by the speaker's nationality and residency status, and which may require a photograph, a passport copy, or a visa copy. Where these documents are collected, they are used solely to obtain the permit that allows the speaker to present, are stored in a segregated access-restricted repository, are never added to marketing records or shared with sponsors or exhibitors, and are deleted once the permit purpose is fulfilled. A speaker cannot be confirmed without the applicable permit.
13. Photography and Recording
The Event may be photographed, recorded, or livestreamed for educational, reporting, or promotional purposes. Delegates who do not wish to be captured should notify the registration desk in advance.
14. Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Badge Scanning
Badge scans during the Event record attendance. Reporting provided to sponsors, exhibitors, and the organizing entity after the Event describes the composition of the audience in aggregate and does not identify individual delegates. Where a sponsor or partner has arranged your attendance, we will have received your registration details from them in order to register you. Where identifiable delegate details are to be shared with a sponsor for the Event, that is stated at the point of registration.
15. Intellectual Property
Scientific content, presentations, and materials shared at the Event remain the property of their respective authors, speakers, or the Society, and may not be reproduced without permission. Content on this website is owned by or licensed to Wiredin and may not be reproduced without our prior written consent.
16. Disclaimers and Liability
Scientific content presented at the Event reflects the views of the individual speakers and does not constitute individualized medical advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wiredin's liability in connection with the Event is limited to the registration fee paid and excludes indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Wiredin is not liable for any failure to perform where prevented by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including government restrictions, venue closure, public health measures, or travel disruption.
17. Privacy and Cookies
Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Wiredin Privacy Statement and the Wiredin Cookie Notice, both incorporated into these terms by reference and available in the footer of this website.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the emirate in which the Event is held. Where the Event is held outside the UAE, the law of the jurisdiction in which it is held applies.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version and effective date are published on this website.
